Kita Richards is the founder and CEO of Rise Vitamin—a woman-owned, Black-owned, over-50-owned supplement brand built from lived experience, love, and legacy.
As a mother of four and a wellness professional with over a decade in the health and fitness world, Kita knows firsthand the toll life can take on a woman’s body, mind, and spirit. She also knows the quiet power of women who choose to rise—again and again.
Tired of the one-size-fits-all supplement industry ignoring the unique needs of women, especially Black women over 40, Kita set out to create something better. Rise Vitamin was born from the belief that wellness should feel real, rooted, and restorative—not just trendy.
Her plant-based formulations are clean, intentional, and spiritually grounded—supporting everything from hormone balance to stress relief, energy, and rest. Each product reflects the wisdom of a woman who’s lived it, healed through it, and now offers her hand to others.
✨ Why I Created Rise (A Note from Kita)
I created Rise because I got tired of being tired.
I’ve been the woman holding everyone up—through motherhood, relationships, caregiving, and building businesses. But I reached a moment in my life where I needed to pour some of that strength back into myself.
I wanted supplements that actually spoke to me—to the stress, the hormonal shifts, the brain fog, and the sleepless nights that so many women silently push through.
I wanted clean, powerful support rooted in wellness and wholeness—not gimmicks or empty promises.
So I built Rise.
This brand is for women like me—and maybe for you too. Women who are strong, spiritual, and ready to rise into their next chapter, fully supported and fully seen.
